Murray Aquatic & Leisure Centre (MALC) Pinjarra

Looking for a community-focused gym that promotes health and fitness in a non-intimidating environment? Look no further than MALC! Since 1996, we've been helping people of all ages and abilities reach their fitness goals. Our staff are friendly and experienced, and always ready to support and encourage you, whether you're a seasoned athlete or just starting out.

The MALC has a wide range of facilities and offers an extensive range of sport, recreation and leisure programs to the general public, schools, clubs and organisations within the Shire of Murray.

Facilities include:

Our journey began with the Lower Court and Performance Arts Workshop (PAW), which officially became the Murray Districts Community Recreation Centre on 12 October 1996. The expansion introduced two timber courts, a gym, group fitness studio, kiosk, offices, and crèche creating a true hub for community sport and recreation.

In April 2011, the addition of aquatic facilities transformed the Centre into a full-service destination and led to a new name: the Murray Leisure Centre. In 2018, we proudly rebranded as the Murray Aquatic & Leisure Centre (MALC), highlighting our strong aquatic focus.

With the launch of our 24/7 Gym in July 2020, we continued evolving to meet the needs of our community and we’re still growing today.
